Do I have to buy hardware?
No. NxThing runs in the browser on the tablet or phone you already own. If you want, you can lock the tablet so it only shows NxThing.
Can my guests order by scanning a QR code?
Yes. Every table has its own QR code. Guests scan, order and pay from their own phone, and the ticket goes straight to the kitchen.
Can I take cards?
Yes — Stripe or Zelle. You use your own Stripe or Zelle account and keys, so the money lands in your bank, not ours.
Can staff give discounts?
Only if you let them. By default only a manager or restaurant chef can approve a discount, using their own 6-digit code. Every discount is logged with who, why and when.
Does it work in my language?
Yes. The guest-facing side and this page speak English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Danish — the languages Orange County actually runs on.
What if I need help?
